James F. Baffa is an associate who concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance coverage counseling and litigation. James has handled coverage matters involving mass torts, product liability, deceptive trade practices, environmental liability and other claims in both state and federal courts throughout the nation.
He received a J.D. magna cum laude from the DePaul University College of Law in 2005, where he also earned membership in the Order of the Coif. While in law school, James served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Barbara Gilleran Johnson in the Illinois Appellate Court for the Second District. He received a B.S. magna cum laude in History and Sociology from Bradley University in 2001.
James is admitted to the Illinois Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is also a member of the American, Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations. James is currently Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Section Insurance Coverage Committee. |
