Smita Mokshagundam is an associate who practices in the area of insurance coverage. Her primary areas of practice are professional liability and general liability insurance coverage. In addition, Smita has litigation experience at the state and federal court levels. She is also a contributing author to the Aspen Publication Illinois Construction Law.

Smita received her J.D. from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 2001. At the University of Illinois, she was a member of the school’s National Environmental Moot Court team. She received her B.A. in 1997 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with honors.

Smita is admitted to the Illinois State Bar, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
