Ellen J. Zabinski is a partner who practices in insurance coverage, insurance defense, professional liability coverage, environmental liability and coverage, employment law and health care law.

She received her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 1998, where she was a member of DePaul’s Moot Court Society and a Comments and Notes editor for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law. She received a B.S. magna cum laude in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 1995, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ellen is admitted to the Illinois Bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and Northern District of Indiana. She is a member of the American Bar Association, where she is currently vice-chair of the Excess, Surplus Lines and Reinsurance Committee of the Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section. She is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association where she is currently a Director. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, where she is currently a co-editor for the Illinois State Bar Association's Insurance Section Publication "The Policy."
