John "Jack" F. Healy, Jr. is an associate whose practice focuses on advising insurance carriers in a variety of complex disputes involving commercial general liability, motor carrier/business auto liability, and professional liability. Jack’s practice includes pre-litigation insurance coverage analysis and the litigation of complex insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts across the country.

Prior to joining BatesCarey, Jack gained significant experience as an attorney in the risk management department of one of the largest general contractors in the United States. As a risk management professional, Jack earned the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist certification from the International Risk Management Institute and was  designated an Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding by the Institutes Risk & Insurance Knowledge Group.

Jack received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago, where he was awarded the Philip H. Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy and competed in national mock trial competitions.
