Anne K. Lewis leverages over 25 years of experience representing insurers in first- and third-party insurance coverage matters, both in and out of court. Her practice concentrates on complex professional liability claims, including Directors and Officers (D&O), Errors and Omissions (E&O), and healthcare professional liability. She has successfully litigated claims in state and federal court and counseled various carriers on numerous professional liability and commercial general liability matters.

Her background also includes significant experience on the claims side of the industry. Prior to joining BatesCarey, Anne served as Healthcare Claims Vice President at a global specialty insurance carrier, leading a multi-office team of adjusters handling approximately $60 million in medical malpractice claims annually. Prior to leading the Healthcare Claims team, she served as Executive Assurance Claims Vice President, managing a team that handled high value D&O liability claims, as well as directly managing coverage litigation and participating in multi-party mediations.
