Joseph E. Tennial is a law clerk working with the Coverage Litigation, Commercial General Liability, General Commercial Litigation, and Professional Liability teams at BatesCarey LLP. 

Joseph is also a current student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  During his time at Loyola, Joseph has consistently excelled academically.  His academic successes are demonstrated by having earned two CALI Awards for Excellence in both Legal Writing, and Advanced Legal Writing for Civil and Criminal Litigation.  Joseph also excels outside the classroom, indicated by being awarded the prestigious Philip H. Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy, where he currently competes in national trial competitions.  He is also on the executive board for the Loyola Federal Bar Association. 

Prior to joining BatesCarey LLP, Joseph served as a judicial extern in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Joseph also gained extensive government experience in the Office of U.S. Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois.
