Melissa A. Sereda is an associate whose practice focuses on serving as coverage and litigation counsel to primary and excess insurers in connection with professional and commercial general liability claims. Melissa advises her clients in pre-litigation coverage analysis and represents insurers in professional liability coverage matters, including D&O, E&O, and other professional liability risks.  Melissa has also represented her clients in various matters involving environmental, construction defect, sexual harassment and molestation, and product defect claims, in state and federal courts across the country. 

Melissa previously clerked for Judge Kathleen Kennedy in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. Melissa also volunteered as a project supervisor in the Circuit Court of Cook County's Domestic Violence Courthouse Pilot Project.

Melissa has been honored by Super Lawyers with the inclusion into the Rising Stars list, which recognizes just 2.5% of attorneys in each state ages 40 and under.
