Ariane V. Monaco is an associate who advises insurance carriers on a variety of cyber risk, technology and data security matters, as well as complex claims and disputes arising under commercial general liability and professional liability insurance policies.

Prior to joining BatesCarey LLP, Ariane focused her practice on handling local and state licensing application matters for businesses in the alcohol hospitality business, including restaurants, bars, hotels, importers and distributors, among others. She handled transactional matters in state-wide tax compliance, license filings, permitting and renewals and brand registrations.

Ariane earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2019 and her B.S. in Broadcast Journalism with a Business minor at the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign. While in law school, Ariane served as an editor and writer for the Intellectual Property Law Journal.
