BatesCarey announced today Lauren N. Tuckey has been installed as the First Vice President of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, serving a term from June 2020 to June 2021. Lauren will serve as the next WBAI President in 2021.

In courts across the country, Lauren handles some of BatesCarey’s most complex insurance coverage and subrogation disputes. She concentrates her practice on product and railroad liability matters, construction accidents and a variety of contract disputes.

Lauren earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami in 2011. Since 2016, Lauren has been selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, a peer review designation recognizing no more than 2.5 percent of Illinois lawyers under the age of 40.

The WBAI is the one of the oldest and largest bar associations in the state of Illinois, established in 1914 with a mission to promote the interests and welfare of women lawyers and aid in the enactment of legislation for the common good and in the administration of justice.
