Paige Houin to Discuss Abating the Nuisance Driving Social Inflation During CLM 2021 Annual Conference

BatesCarey’s Paige M. Houin will speak at the upcoming 2021 Claims and Litigation Management Alliance Annual Conference on August 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Her presentation, titled “Opioids, COVID-19, and Beyond: How to Abate the Nuisance Driving Social Inflation,” will feature a panel discussion focusing on the recent rise of insurance claims due to changes in societal forces. This event is a part of a three-day conference provided by the CLM for professionals in the claims and litigation management industries which will take place at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia.

Paige will be joined by two attorneys to speak on issues related social inflation and the effects of public nuisance, the ongoing opioid litigation and insurer response to claims to abate the impact of nuclear verdicts.
