Brian Watson is a partner who concentrates his practice in the area of third-party and first-party insurance coverage, including major property losses, business interruption claims, builders risk claims and pursuing subrogation in large commercial property losses. Brian also has considerable experience representing insurers in connection with Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions and Employment Practices Liability coverage, including litigated maters before state and federal courts. He has first-chair jury trial experience and he has resolved numerous disputes through alternative dispute resolution and negotiated settlements.

YRC Worldwide, Inc. v. XL Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd., Case No. 11-cv-2534 (D. Kan.) Defended Bermudian insurer in a declaratory judgment and breach of contract action seeking coverage under an EPL policy.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. v. Vigilant Ins. Co., Index No. 600979/09 (N.Y. Sup. Ct.) Defended U.S. insurer in declaratory judgment action seeking coverage under Financial Institution E&O policy.
