Medina Dzubur represents insurance companies in complex coverage litigation across federal and state courts nationwide, analyzing high-stakes matters under a broad range of insurance policies and advocating for clients at every stage – from initial coverage analysis and written options through motion practice, discovery, and trial. Her experience spans commercial general liability, professional liability, civil litigation, and securities litigation. Medina also handles appellate matters, representing insurance companies in coverage disputes on appeal.
Before joining BatesCarey, Medina represented broker-dealers in FINRA arbitration proceedings and dispositive motions and managed discovery in complex litigation, including the production, review, and drafting of documents. She also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Alison Conlon at the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Medina earned her J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2020 and received her B.A. from Michigan State University in 2017.
She is proficient in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian.
