Viridiana Marcial is an associate whose practice focuses on advising primary and excess insurance carriers in coverage disputes involving numerous product lines including management liability, professional liability, and commercial general liability.

Viri has experience handling complex claims involving employment-related litigation, securities class actions, and derivative action, as well as claims arising under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”).  Viri regularly advises clients on the developing body of coverage case law for BIPA claims and how those developments impact her insurer clients’ obligations.

Viri attended the University of Missouri School of Law, where she served as an associate member on the Journal of Dispute Resolution and was published in the January 2023 issue.  Additionally, during law school, Viri participated in the Veterans Clinic where she assisted veterans of the armed forces pursue disability compensation claims from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  She also participated in the Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the state of Missouri on topics that include intellectual property and contract law.
