Miranda Cannon is a member of the Firm’s Professional Liability Practice Group, concentrating on insurance coverage matters including coverage litigation. She also handles disputes involving general liability and has experience litigating complex construction defect claims.
Prior to joining BatesCarey, Miranda maintained a broad litigation practice in Omaha, where she managed files involving coverage disputes, auto liability and construction defect claims.
Miranda earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she received the Outstanding Advocate Award for her work with the Tenant Assistance Project. While in law school, Miranda served in leadership roles with the Women’s Law Caucus and the Chancellor’s Commission for the Status of Women and held multiple teaching assistantships in property and clinical law. She also appeared on behalf of clients in eviction and mental health commitment proceedings. Miranda received her B.A. in Political Science and Government from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
